Dear Madam/Sir, I am writing to express my interest in your current looking for seafaring positions. Please accept my application for your consideration. As a graduate of Maritime University in Szczecin in the faculty of navigation majoring in sea transport I continue my international sea career on board merchant ships trading worldwide. Recently I have focused into Dynamic Positioning and offshore industries and I am looking for a company in which I could apply my enthusiasm for this type of maritime services. My past experience as a deck officer on board different types of vessels like ro-pax, general cargo/multipurpose and latest generation of container carriers combined with my recent interest in DP enhanced my will to successfully complete a course in Dynamic Positioning Operator / Basic as offered in Training Centre for Marine Officers in Szczecin which was accredited by the Nautical Institute. Additionally I am the holder of Chief Mate Certificate on ships of 3000 GT and more. I am confident that my versatile contributions would be a valuable asset to the new employer. What I can bring to the position is a combination of quality vessel operation and navigation, very good verbal and written English communication skills, competence in team player with strong interpersonal skills in a multicultural working environment, systematic and disciplined working practices and proficiency in computer operation. I work diligently to provide excellence in all my professional endeavours which was my goal on previous positions as 3rd and 2nd officer. Additionally I would like to mention that I am ready for eventual employment even on non DP vessel and lower rank or position to get proper familiarization in offshore sector.
